Littleton Area Chamber builds partnerships at Annual Meeting

LITTLETON--The Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) is gearing up for an eventful 2017, kicking off the year with their annual dinner meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Omni Mount Washington Resort.

This year's theme, Partnering For Success, reflects LACC's mission to work with members and local organizations to build connections that benefit local businesses and tourism.

Interim Executive Director Jessica Bunker noted, "Partnerships are essential for the success of the Chamber and our members. We enjoy fostering business relationships between members that will help each of them grow."

Highlighting the evening's festivities is guest speaker David Souter, chair of the New Hampshire Retail Association. Along with working on the board to ensure New Hampshire retailers have a voice in Concord, Souter operates Baron's Major Brands, an appliance and home company with shops throughout the southern part of the state.

"David has a deep understanding of retail from what works to the challenges of running a retail business," revealed Board president Carrie Gendreau. "He will touch upon topics many of our members can relate to, and I'm sure everyone will walk away feeling inspired."

According to Bunker, "I think it's always great to have someone from outside the area provide a glimpse of our town. Living and working here, it can be easy to forget how far ahead we may be of some areas- and also easy to forget the need to continue innovating. David will be able to provide us a glimpse of state-wide trends that we as a community can take a look at and potentially apply to Littleton."
